Here I am, deep in a past February, in front of an Ithaca Falls frozen but for a small waterfall behind me.

    1. Pam is proud of that photo. We have a view of Ithaca Falls, across the valley, from our driveway. The studio Carl Sagan used for writing his books is part of the view, perched on a cliff above the falls. A wintertime outing is to visit the base of the falls to judge the progress of the freeze. We stay away during the thaw due to the danger of falling ice.
