Great shots, Michael and the ice crystals are like an alien landscape! The hues of a winter scene are wondrous and atmospheric! These make me long for snow and frost! 😀
Interesting photos of the ice crystals. On first glance, some looked very feathery. Brought back memories of childhood and observing frost-feather landscapes on my frozen, bedroom window. 🙂
I captured some shadows on the prairie in southeastern Montana (by accident I am sure) during a summer excursion to Little Bighorn Battlefield. God’s creation enjoys and brings surprise to my camera once in awhile.
Some of the art is teasing out the shadow details in post shoot production. This is not possible if the original shoot has too much underexposure of the shadows.

A part of the past for this spot…..Fall Creek has not frozen for years. It used to every year.

They are delicate, similar to window frost.

Shadows on snow are a favorite effect of mine, as well. More to come from that day.
