We lingered in this curve of Famine Road over Healy Pass, beauty in literally every direction.
Here we follow the modest flow of river Adrigole through its valley, the way we came. The road is just visible to the right. Beara peninsula, County Cork, Republic of Ireland.

Love the landscape. NL is a flat country. Everytime I go back to Greece or travel to any other country I act like a child when I see mountains. Love it!!

I grew up on flat Long Island, next to New York City, and felt the same way when we traveled to “Upstate” New York.
