I had a huge deer in my yard on Friday, I want to get a photo but, I just stood and looked at her, knowing she would be gone before I could get it out. Cute picture.

I don’t know what made me receptive to chipmunks, they usually skitter away. Our deer will just (try) to stare you down, “What are you doing here?” The fawns and their hijinks are cute springtimes.

That is one little creature I do miss here in coastal NC. I don’t miss skunks though. We don’t have those here, either.

Really? I didn’t know that. Was there a St. Patrick type character that drove them away? (just kidding)

A chipmunk in action! I just love it because he’s caught in the act, but continues to carry on.

That is unusual….it was hungry, maybe sensed a big freeze was on hand.
