One May early morning two white horses come down from a sloping pasture on Slievenaglogh to view an interloper taking photographs. Slievenaglogh Townland, County Louth, Ireland.

This I used the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens. It is two shots, the first in horizontal, the second in vertical mode.

I was out of the ordinary, as they were for me.

What a lovely photo. If two horses came to see me, I’d need coffee, some carrots and apples for them, and a folding chair because I’d stay as long as they would. Love horses. π

Horses are always curious about a human they do not recognize. Most importantly they will be asking each other what the chances are you might have a bit of apple or carrot for the.!π

In my case, there is a good chance if I had anticipated the encounter.

It had not entered my mind until you mentioned it…..we have more cows than people in Tompkins County and they are very curious as well. Never thought to feed them. ha ha

Yes, I was going to say, maybe they were hoping for a carrot!
