The sun broke through between clouds to rake with light the beach scurf and wind scud. In the distance, a steady west gale blows surf onto itself as a white curtain.

These photos look like paintings. I’m especially taken with the frothy spume; it looks rather like a meringue in the process of being whipped up.

It does!!! Egg whites hold up much better and do not disappear into the sand. Still beautiful in the sunlight.
