Good to hear from you, GP. It is still autumn for us, the under story trees are still turning, see the earlier post from the same day. https://michaelstephenwills.com/2019/11/28/rock-elm-autumn/

Do you know what kind of Oaks they are?
We have a HUGE Willow Oak across the street and it’s been bare for a month. Of course, I am East Coast/Mid-Atlantic.

Great question, Victoria. The number of oak species is enormous, I do not even know the two trees on our property. Black Oaks are common in this area. Willows are at their best early spring, unimpressive autumn IMHO

Hm. I’m not sure I’ve even seen a Black Oak. I am familiar with Willow & Red, here. I saw a lot of Live Oak in Texas.
There are certainly a huge number of them. ❤🌳
